THANK YOU LETTER FROM A PAST SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT, Marisa Etzell:
Dear Lions Club Scholarship Committee Members, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas spent with those you love most. As 2016 comes to a close, I find myself looking back over the past year and the many blessings in my life. I have so much to be thankful for. In April 2016, I returned from my bridge year in Ecuador. My summer was spent working for the Island County Museum and then, before I knew it, I was off to college. I can now proudly say that I have successfully completed my first semester of college. When asked how it has been, I have already told many people that it feels a little like high school on steroids since I am taking general education classes. Meal will be served family style with the dessert dash following dinner

Pole Tent for Rent: The Coupeville Lions Club is pleased to offer our 20x40 Pole Tent for non-profit organizations within our community use for $50 per day.  For additional consideration of $100, the Lions may, depending on availability, be able to set up and take down the tent.  This YouTube link shows a similar tent and what is involved in the setup and takedown.  Watch this YouTube video    The clip shows two persons managing the task but realistically plan on at least 4.  For availability contact Brian Pulk
