From our President, Lion Ricardo Reyes
Hello Fellow Lions, What a wonderfully successful Student Scholarship Auction we had. Thanks those folks behind the scenes, auctioneers, the those who put the reports and final tally together, and attendees who made it happen. Whenever we have any of our Club events, small or large, there are many folks involved assuring we have a successful event. Some of our events and activities can be managed by one person (or a handful) to get it off the ground, oftentimes they require many hands to set up and tear down. Such events, to name a few, will be the White Cane campaign, Blood drive, Commodities distribution, Woodcutting and Road clean up.
Lets not forget to mention the largest event requiring more involvement, as it relates to days of set up and many volunteers during a two-week period. In my opinion the Annual Garage Sale is our club’s most physical and mentally-intense challenge.

Pole Tent for Rent: The Coupeville Lions Club is pleased to offer our 20x40 Pole Tent for non-profit organizations within our community use for $50 per day.  For additional consideration of $100, the Lions may, depending on availability, be able to set up and take down the tent.  This YouTube link shows a similar tent and what is involved in the setup and takedown.  Watch this YouTube video    The clip shows two persons managing the task but realistically plan on at least 4.  For availability contact Brian Pulk
