Hello fellow Lions. Spring is here and the following months to come will bring many hours
of fun and exciting opportunities to serve. There is an ongoing work in preparation of our annual garage sale. The garage pick up crew are working around the clock picking up wonderful and mysterious merchandise. They have picked up slightly used but sturdy tables, many chairs to replace our overly used and broken ones, and tables for display of the goods. Earlier this year the members voted on purchasing metal racks to replace some of our tables and to present a better display of merchandise. There has been and continues to be assembly crews putting the rack together in preparation for the July 1st -2nd Garage Sale.
Karen Fletcher, the club’s Lead person for the GS, is asking for assistance to fill the following positions: 1- Security (not sure what the qualifications are other than walking around and look intimidating, Just kidding) 2- Arts/Crafts/Wooden items, 3-Stuffed Animals, 4-DVD’s/Vinyl & CDs, and 5-the Super “One Dollar” bargain center. You will be “the go to person” and oversee the display and pricing of the items in those Departments. I encourage you to take the challenge and do not worry - there will be plenty of other Lions to help you as well. Let’s make this year Garage Sale another success! Thank you for your help, Ricardo Reyes President, CLC
